Teddy Bear Four's Program

     Our Teddy Bear 4's VPK class is from 8:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for 5 days per week. This class has 20 students with 2 teachers. 

     Ms. Moore and Mrs. Wasserman offer a loving, nurturing environment while teaching lessons that support the VPK standards and the NAEYC guidelines. Lessons focus on social and academic skills that include fine motor, gross motor, social-emotional, math skills, phonological awareness, literacy, and science. Children also enjoy weekly enrichment classes in Music, Spanish, and Chapel.

     Assessments are mandated three times per year to understand and reflect each students strengths and progress. Lesson plans are then created with each students' needs in mind.

     Students remain with their same class and teachers for the entire August-May school year, in order to build relationships and bond with their peers. A full-year curriculum is taught based on Kindergarten preparation with the goal of all students moving on to the the next level in the Fall.
